Kreditano is an affiliate site. We earn a commission from a bank or a lender for redirecting a clicking customer. That's our business model and there's no point in hiding it — instead we describe it openly so it's clear how it works and what it means for you.
How the affiliate cooperation works
Clicking „Apply” on an offer generates a unique identifier (sub-id) passed to the bank's or lender's system. If the application is accepted and finalised, the institution pays Kreditano a commission. The institution sets the rate, usually 50 to 1 200 PLN per client, depending on product type (chwilówka, instalment loan, credit card) and amount.
Kreditano doesn't charge you anything. The RRSO and the terms of your loan are exactly the same as if you'd gone straight to the bank. The commission paid to Kreditano is part of the bank's client-acquisition cost, not an extra fee on your side.
What it means that it doesn't shape the ranking
The commission level doesn't decide the display order or what we cover in our guides. By default we sort the ranking ascending by RRSO (cheapest first), regardless of whether an affiliate agreement with that institution sits at 50 PLN or 800 PLN. The full methodology explanation sits on the Ranking methodology page.
Some institutions shown in the comparison have no affiliate agreement with us at all. We add them if they are KNF-regulated and their offers are competitive. We earn less, but the ranking stays complete.
Your consumer rights
You can opt out of our marketing communication any time (link in every email or directly at contact [at] kreditano [dot] com). You can request data removal under GDPR. You can file a complaint with UOKiK if you find our affiliate practices misleading.
Most importantly: comparing offers on Kreditano commits you to nothing. You can compare, copy the KNF number of the firm you like, and apply directly with them, skipping our links. Your loan terms will be identical.
Legal basis
Affiliate status in Poland needs no extra licence beyond general rules on advertising and business activity. As an information intermediary, not a credit broker, we don't fall under the KNF credit-broker register. Full information about our activity sits in the Terms of service and on the About page.
We update the affiliate disclosure when the business model changes. Every change is marked with a date and a short description.
