What „15 minutes” means in lender marketing
The marketing „15 minutes” starts from the lender's decision and ends with the transfer being sent. It doesn't include Open Banking verification (3-5 minutes) or the receiving bank's processing time (from 5 minutes on Elixir Express, up to a few hours overnight). The real time from clicking „apply” to seeing money on the account usually runs 25-45 minutes.
Lenders that really pay out under 15 minutes
ChwilówkaPRO and Net Gotówka — most often cited in tests as the ones genuinely paying out under 15 minutes on a first loan during business hours. Vivigo and InstaFin use Kontomatik for instant account verification, so the decision is fast, but the transfer can take longer (depends on the receiving bank). Freezl claims 15 minutes, in practice runs 20-30 minutes with new clients.
When 15 minutes won't work
An application submitted after 17:00 on a Friday means the transfer arrives Monday morning. A Saturday-evening application, Sunday morning at best. A receiving bank outside the Elixir Express network (rare, but it happens with small cooperative banks) adds a day. Anything outside the Elixir sessions needs a BlueCash transfer, which costs the lender 5-10 PLN and tends to be skipped on chwilówki under 1 000 PLN.
What actually speeds up the payout
An account at the same bank as the lender removes the inter-bank transfer time. mBank, ING and Santander often have their own internal clearing. The first application always takes longer (5-10 minutes for verification). A second application at the same lender is instant, because the profile already exists.
My take: how to plan a fast loan
File the application between 8:00 and 15:00 on a working day. Pick a lender using Kontomatik (faster verification). Check whether your bank supports Elixir Express (most do, look in the bank's terms). If the money is needed today, don't submit on a Friday after 16:00.
