Provident — reviews, loan with an advisor or online

Provident has been active in Poland since 1997 — one of the oldest lender brands, known for serving clients via a doorstep advisor. By 2026 Provident carries the widest product range in the non-bank segment: chwilówka, instalment loan, Digital Credit Card. Here I lay out each product separately.

Provident Polska S.A. — who owns the brand

Provident Polska S.A., KNF Lender Register entry: KIP-000018. Part of International Personal Finance (IPF), listed on the London Stock Exchange. Provident has been in Poland since 1997, employing tens of thousands of advisors serving customers at home. The signature „home service” model sets Provident apart from purely digital competitors.

„naCoDzień” loan — self-service online

Online loan without an advisor visit, 1 000-9 300 PLN, term 6-24 months. Representative RRSO 29% on 9 300 PLN over 24 months, total cost 12 144 PLN. That's the cheapest product in the Provident portfolio and one of the competitive non-bank options. Online decision in 30 minutes via Open Banking.

„Long Form” loan — with an advisor at home

The classic Provident product: an advisor visits your home, signs the contract, delivers the cash. Amounts 500-26 000 PLN, term 3-48 months. RRSO 78-86%. The higher RRSO reflects the cost of field service. For clients with limited internet access or those preferring a face-to-face contact, this product makes sense.

Digital Credit Card by Provident

A virtual credit card with a limit up to 4 500 PLN. RRSO 55.28%, interest-free period 30 days. Available to Provident clients who repaid a first loan on time. Lower RRSO than a chwilówka, higher than bank cards (Citi 19%, mBank 18%). The card is available only to Provident's internal clients.

My take: which Provident product for whom

„naCoDzień” for a client looking for an instalment loan of 5 000-9 000 PLN, digitally fluent. „Long Form” for those preferring personal contact with an advisor — often older clients, residents of smaller towns without easy access to digital banking. Digital Credit Card for existing Provident clients as a next step in the relationship. Each product serves a different segment.
