2 000 PLN as a 30-day chwilówka
Standard market cost: 500 PLN commission plus 50 PLN interest — 550 PLN in total. You return 2 550 PLN on day thirty. RRSO around 295%. Lenders offering this amount: ChwilówkaPRO, Net Gotówka, Vivigo (with the 0% first-loan promo), Freezl. A first loan at Vivigo or Kredu — 0 PLN cost if you settle on time.
2 000 PLN as a 6-month instalment
Smartney: 380 PLN per month, total cost 280 PLN, RRSO 46%. SuperGrosz: 395 PLN per month, total 370 PLN, RRSO 60%. Aasa: 405 PLN per month, total 430 PLN, RRSO 72%. A 2 000 PLN instalment usually sits at the bottom of these firms' range, so RRSO is higher than at 5 000-10 000 PLN. Still cheaper than two chwilówki over the same period.
2 000 PLN from a credit card
A 2 000 PLN limit on a credit card with a 50-day interest-free period means zero cost if you settle inside the period. After the deadline, 14.5% annual interest applies from the transaction date. Citi Simplicity, Santander Visa Bonus and Pekao Żubr open a 2 000 PLN limit even on a moderate BIK score. But it requires owning the card already. In a sudden need it doesn't help.
Cost comparison across the three routes
30-day chwilówka (returning client): 550 PLN cost. 6-month instalment: 280-430 PLN cost (depending on firm). Card in the interest-free period: 0 PLN. Card with interest after 50 days (monthly minimum): about 150 PLN over 6 months. Card wins if you have it. Instalment wins if the card isn't an option. Chwilówka only for a 0% promo or an absolutely certain settlement day.
My take: order of choice
Got a credit card with free limit, first pick — unbeatable. No card, stable income, can spread payments over half a year, take an instalment at Smartney. Need it for 30 days, have a certain payday, are a first-time client at a 0% promo lender, take the chwilówka at 0%. In every other case, a 6-month instalment at 50-70% RRSO costs less than a chwilówka at 295% RRSO, even if the monthly looks less scary.
